Our Ace consultants work in schools throughout the UK and internationally through consultancy, helping and supporting schools and making a difference to all the stakeholders. It brings happiness and joy to us by making that difference to an individual, group or masses, that is the reason we created Ace Consultancy. Central to everything we do is creating lifelong learners: ‘we are always in a school as long as we are breathing’ At Ace we work with and provide consultancy for international schools who are implementing the British National Curriculum. Ace consultancies are bespoke and tailored to meet the needs outlined by our client. This might be a one-off consultancy or a series of visits over a period.

Preparing for Inspection

Ace provides you with the skills, knowledge and experience to prepare you for inspection with robust evaluations and further improving leadership and classroom practice. Ace can help you prepare for OFSTED and BSO inspection process.

Governors Training

Although there is no mandatory training for governors, they must ensure that they have the necessary skills. Induction training with Ace will clarify many facets.

Governors have a wide range of responsibilities and Ace will support you to get you better informed. Meetings can be difficult to understand at first, with lots of acronyms, jargon, policies and documents. Data sheets and budgets can be very difficult to understand when seen for the first time.Induction training will cover:

  • the statutory responsibilities of governors
  • the difference between being “strategic” (the role of governors) and being “operational” (the role of the headteacher and staff)
  • introduction to budgets
  • how to use and interpret school performance data
  • staffing issues
  • safeguarding children
  • how to ask challenging questions and when to offer support
  • how to conduct school visits and get to know your individual school
  • how to make an impact as a governor.
